Lee the Flea

Lee the providential flea
Hails from a frenzied family
A market-stall for cousin Dee
A circus act from Auntie Vee
But though our Lee is very wee
He gets around commendably
His labour is no drudgery
He’s free to act at liberty
He operates most secretly
With oh, such unimpeded glee
To be adaptable and free
A proper little sucker – Lee
For sitting ducks like you and me
Who fail to end his little spree
The dog’s detested enemy
He multiplies abundantly
A brute that you can hardly see
